Regions Financial Corporation functions as a financial holding entity, delivering a broad spectrum of banking and financial services to a diverse client base, including both individuals and corporations. Conversely, the Consumer Bank segment focuses on individual customers, offering an extensive portfolio of retail banking products and services. The Wealth Management segment caters to individuals, businesses, governmental institutions, and non-profit organizations, providing credit-related products, retirement and savings strategies, and expert services in trust and investment management, asset management, and estate planning. Beyond these core areas, the company also extends its offerings to include investment and insurance products, low-income housing tax credit corporate fund syndication, and various other specialized financing services. As of March 1, 2022, Regions Financial maintained a significant physical presence, operating approximately 1,300 banking branches and 2,000 automated teller machines (ATMs) spread across the Southern and Midwestern United States, including Texas.
