Privacy Notice
This notice explains the data flow behind AlphaBrain accounts, portfolio analysis and first-party analytics.
Data we process
Depending on your use, AlphaBrain processes account identifiers, portfolio files and extracted holdings, storage paths and checksums, consent records, IP address, user agent, browser and operating-system information, language, timezone, screen and input-capability metadata, visited paths and AI usage logs. We do not record the content of your keystrokes.
Upload before consent
A selected portfolio file is placed in private temporary storage so you can review the analysis terms. It is not parsed or sent for AI analysis before acceptance. If you do not continue, the temporary upload expires after one hour and is removed by the cleanup process.
Analysis and retention
After acceptance, the file may be processed by AI to extract holdings and by FMP-backed services to identify instruments and market metadata. The original file, extracted rows, analysis, audit metadata and consent record are retained to support account claiming, recovery and security.
Purpose and access
We use this data to provide portfolio research, operate accounts, secure the service, diagnose failures, measure traffic and costs, and improve reliability. Portfolio files are private. User-level row security limits portfolio records to their owner, while authorized administrators can access operational and traffic information.
Service providers and transfers
Infrastructure, email, AI-model and financial-data providers process only the information needed to deliver their function. Their processing locations and retention may differ. Do not upload information you are not authorized to disclose.
Your choices
You can decline analysis after the temporary upload, avoid creating an account, and use browser privacy controls such as Do Not Track. Applicable law may provide rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Account-related requests can be made through the service support channel.
