The fund typically allocates at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowed funds used for investment) to the stocks of companies with market capitalizations comparable, at the time of purchase, to those within the S&P 500 Index. Up to 20% of its total assets may be directed towards international securities. Its portfolio commonly includes ordinary and preferred shares, convertible instruments, warrants, and rights, and it also has the option to invest in exchange-traded funds.
