PAO NOVATEK, an integrated independent oil and gas producer, manages the entire value chain for natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons, from acquisition and exploration to development, production, processing, marketing, and global export. The company's primary resource base is located in Russia's Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region, within Western Siberia. Its product portfolio includes natural gas, stable gas condensate, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), crude oil, and a variety of refined products such as naphtha, diesel fuel, jet fuel, methanol, and petrol. Beyond its core product offerings, the company provides essential services like transportation, geological and geophysical surveys, energy equipment repair and maintenance, and various leasing options. It also operates its own network of retail fuel stations. With a broad international footprint, its products are distributed across Russia, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, and North America. Notably, PAO NOVATEK has forged a strategic alliance with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, focusing on joint ventures within Russia for hydrogen and ammonia production, carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and renewable energy projects. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Tarko-Sale, Russia, the entity adopted its current name, PAO NOVATEK, in October 2016, having previously been known as OAO NOVATEK.
