This fund's primary objective is to generate consistent income, while also pursuing a fair chance for its capital and earnings to appreciate over the long term. Under normal circumstances, it commits no less than 30% of its net assets to equity holdings and a similar minimum of 30% to fixed-income instruments. However, specific market dynamics, individual security dealings, or operational cash flow considerations may occasionally lead to a temporary reduction below these 30% thresholds for either stocks or bonds. Its debt portfolio is diversified, potentially including both high-quality investment-grade securities and higher-yielding, lower-rated (below investment-grade) bonds of various durations.
