Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., along with its affiliated entities, delivers a comprehensive suite of scheduled and charter air transportation services, spanning both domestic Japanese routes and international destinations. Its operations are organized into an Air Transportation division and various other business segments. JAL is responsible for domestic and global passenger flights, vital ground support, and the conveyance of air freight. Furthermore, the group participates in specialized aerial operations and related commercial activities, in addition to merchandising vacation packages. By March 31, 2021, JAL's fleet encompassed 218 aircraft. Initially established in 1951, the organization was previously identified as Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd. before adopting its current designation, Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., in April 2011. Its corporate headquarters are based in Tokyo, Japan.
