Typically, this fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its portfolio to U.S. dollar-denominated financial instruments. These include money market vehicles, various types of highly-rated, investment-grade debt, and repurchase agreements backed by such securities. A substantial portion, over 25% of its total holdings, is dedicated to firms within the financial services sector. The portfolio is generally structured to maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity not exceeding 0.75 years (or nine months). Moreover, its investments in fixed-rate instruments are restricted to those maturing in two years or less, while floating-rate instruments have an upper maturity limit of three years.
