Deutz AG, a German corporation, is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of diesel and gas-powered engines. The company boasts a widespread international footprint, serving markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia Pacific region, and the Americas. Its activities are organized across three distinct segments. The DEUTZ Compact Engines division is dedicated to the servicing of liquid-cooled power units up to 8 liters in displacement. In contrast, the DEUTZ Customized Solutions segment offers air-cooled drives and liquid-cooled engines larger than 8 liters, alongside remanufactured exchange engines and spare parts. It is also responsible for developing battery management hardware and software products (Futavis) and spearheads efforts in electrifying drive systems and electric watercraft. Beyond manufacturing, Deutz provides comprehensive after-sales services, including engine installation, ongoing maintenance, and critical repairs. These engines are deployed in a broad spectrum of applications, such as construction and agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, ground support vehicles, stationary power plants, commercial and rail transport, and various marine vessels. Established in 1864, Deutz AG maintains its corporate headquarters in Cologne, Germany.
