S-Oil Corporation

S-OIL Corporation is a major oil refining entity based in South Korea. Its extensive product range includes various refined petroleum items like gasoline, diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fuel oil, and asphalt. The company also produces a variety of petrochemicals, such as benzene, toluene, xylenes (including para-xylene), propylene, methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), propylene oxide, and polypropylene, in addition to lubricant products. S-OIL maintains sophisticated facilities for the production of lube base oils and petrochemicals, alongside its crude oil refining operations, which boast a capacity of 669,000 barrels per day. A bunker-C cracking center further enhances its petroleum product output. Globally, S-OIL distributes its oil products to numerous international markets, including Southeast Asia, the United States, China, Japan, Australia, and Europe. The company, which was founded in 1976, has its corporate headquarters situated in Seoul, South Korea, and functions as a subsidiary of Aramco Overseas Co., B.V.
